About Sembra
Sembra is a Latina-owned equity-focused 501c3 non-profit with a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) consulting arm, creating communities where all people can grow where they are planted. Sembra was founded on a purpose of curating spaces that promote connection, growth and advancement in underserved communities. BIPOC communities have been historically marginalized; Sembra aims to dismantle barriers to allow for equity, success, and access.
Jasmin Zamora, President and Founder, a first-generation Mexican American, has built a career that combines employee engagement, communications, community and DEI to create welcoming communities and workplaces. Her passion stems from her journey to finding her own sense of belonging and creating a path for others to find their voice and impact.
In just one year since it’s founding in August 2023, Sembra has quickly become a strong name in the community that promotes inclusive conversations, welcomes authentic connections and shows a commitment to a more equitable future.
